Animation, Motion GFX, Video Editing | Paid Media
Monks is a global media agency, with an in house performance marketing agency. All of this work (2025) has been made in-house at Monks for a variety of clients — ranging from finance, software, and tech, to lifestyle and consumer brands.

My role as a motion designer was to provide animation, editing, sound design, and production services for a large, very fast-moving advertising program. Each project begins with an account team of strategists, producers pitch ad concepts, which are then brought to life by designers who create storyboards, and then passed off to an animator/editor (me) who creates the finished product. It's a very tight digital production line that allows for a high volume output of ads.
My role in all of these ads is animation, motion gfx, video editing, sound design, and production. The ads are strategized and designed by other creatives I partner with. The fun part of this process is that it allowed me to soley focus on animation and production - what I love doing the most. However, it was really new to me to not be the person designing and art directing the storyboards myself, which is something I enjoyed doing in the past.

Planview
Planview is a global technology company providing an AI-powered platform for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Digital Product Development (DPD), and work management.​
These ads feature animation techniques that were new for me in my work like code expressions, expression sliders, "rove across time" keyframes, and animation of 3D layers.
Wing
Wing is an on-demand drone delivery service for small packages, including food, medicine, and household items. It uses lightweight, automated electric aircraft to deliver items in minutes, operating in the U.S., Australia, and Europe.​
Our ads focus on value props of Wing's drone delivery, and feature different promotional offers to inspire first time users to give Wing a try. From an animation standpoint, I wanted the motion to feel fast and futuristic. I focused on smooth easing, code expressions, and 3D transitions.
Quillbot
QuillBot is an AI-powered writing assistant that helps users rewrite sentences, summarize documents, and improve writing fluency using a variety of tools.

Chime
Chime Financial, Inc. is a financial technology company that offers fee-free checking and savings accounts, early paycheck access (up to 2 days), and overdraft protection (SpotMe). It provides a mobile app for managing money, including features like "Pay Anyone" for instant transfers, automatic savings tools, and a secured credit card to build credit without interest or annual fees.

Postmark
Postmark is a specialized, high-reliability email delivery service (SMTP and API) designed for developers and product teams to send transactional emails and, in some cases, marketing messages.

My animation focused on a creative way to show all of the various integrations Postmark has. I added sound effects to bring the integrations visual to life!
